These are photos from day 7 (3 days ago) and measurements from this morning:
Starting weight: 133lbs (Goal: 125lbs)
Today's weight: 131lbs
Waist: 30in
Hips: 40in
Arm: 10.5in
Thigh: 22in
So, those are the stats. As for the workout, it's definitely becoming a heck of a lot easier. The only problem is my ankles. My guess is that the impact + hardwood floors = not so great of a thing. I'll be wearing shoes from here on out, and hopefully that will make a difference.
I got to thinking today, and I'm a bit frustrated. I was at 130lbs pre-Max, so I'm 1lb away...but I'm not fitting into my pre-Max jeans. I guess it's true when they say you can lose all of the baby weight, but your body may never be the same.
On that note, I'm off to change into another pair of sweatpants.

Day 7 photo update- outtakes
I have a photo update for you today, but I'm waiting to post it until I find my tape measurer so I can combine the photos and my body measurements.
In the meantime.... two outtakes:

James Brown would want me to post an update
What day am I on now? 6, I think. I'm feeling pretty good. I knew that I would, now. So good, so good, I got you. James Brown would be proud of me.
The level one workout is getting easier, but my real downfall is my eating habits. Today was the first day that I actually paid attention to what I shoved into my face-hole. Tessa helped me devour my afternoon snack:
I think it would've gone down easier with a little nutella. I'm just sayin'.

Day 3.
Today was much better. I'm still really sore, but I feel like once my blood gets pumping the soreness is hardly noticeable. I was able to keep up without stopping, and here's the BIG deal: I did more than 2 push ups.
Since you've all been such good shreddians, here's a little treat:
Happy shredding :)

Day 2

Day 1 of 30 day shred
I'm just a little over 6 months postpartum of my second child, and I finally decided to bite the bullet and give Jillian Michaels' "30 Day Shred" workout another try*. Things might be a bit different this time as I won't be keeping track of how much weight I've lost (my scale is broken), and I'm still breastfeeding. I will be logging my progress by taking photos every week, and hopefully, based on how my clothes are fitting.
Now, don't get the wrong idea. I don't think I'm enormous. I think I look pretty decent for having just had my second child 6 months ago. But I haven't done any sort of physical exercise since the early months of this last pregnancy, and even then, it was only walking. I want to be fit and in the best shape I can be in before my next pregnancy (yes, there will be more children). That is my motivation.
So here are my before pictures. Day 1 of the shred:
Notes on today's workout: Started on level one. It was hard, and it hurt.
I'll be back tomorrow with my notes for day 2.
*I failed miserably after 2 weeks of my sad attempt at trying this same workout a couple years back.
